Tiger Woods is preparing to participate for the third time in the PNC Championship, a father-son tournament, with his son Charlie. As soon as it is a question of participating in a tournament with his offspring, the “Tiger” displays a broad smile.

“Whenever I get the chance to spend time with my son, it’s always special. Doing it in competitive form, for us, is even more so. The last two years have been magical. We can’t wait to be there,” Tiger Woods told TSN.
In last year’s tournament, the Woods family finished one strike behind John Daly and his son John. This year, Charlie Woods is affected by an ankle injury. So it won’t be 100%.
“Charlie is in better shape than me anyway,” joked the father Woods, during a press conference. That’s how it is, it’s not that bad. Just a bad time. But we will be ready for the tournament on Saturday.
Tiger Woods still has some physical issues dating back to his car accident in February 2021. Foot pain has also kept him out of a tournament recently. He will also have to travel by golf cart since he cannot walk long distances.
Woods confessed that his troubles with his foot were also delaying the rehabilitation of the rest of his leg. He therefore has no idea when he will return to action in 2023. However, he does not want to think about it over the weekend.
“I don’t really care about that. I just think being by my son’s side is way more important. Having the chance to live this experience with him is more of a priority than my foot, which is causing me a bit of trouble,” he concluded.
The PNC Championship will take place in Orlando, Florida from Saturday to Sunday.
