Metamorphosed! What happy news… On the Insta account of one of his biggest fans, Florent Pagny poses, in great shape, with a goatee, mustaches and close-cropped hair… perked up! In the caption, he posts : “Recent photo of the boss. In tip top shape.” And the likes and comments explode. One of them pulls out the right word: “plumped!”
Phew, fans are finally reassured about the singer’s state of health since the latter announced in January that he had lung cancer and had to undergo several chemotherapy sessions. Transparent about his illness, the artist had then unveiled pictures where he had just become unrecognizable… emaciated, pale and bald, France was in a blood of ink for him!
But in May already, the signs of hope were pointing their nose… the interpreter of “Savoir aime” announced that he only had one chemo session left and that his tumor had considerably reduced: from the size “of a kiwi” she had passed to that “of a hazelnut”. Combative, never giving up, Florent was also able to benefit from a great medical team and especially from his relatives. His wife Azucena Camano, whom he has loved since 1993, has always been extremely present by his side, as well as the couple’s two children, Inca (26) and Aël (23).
In Galalast May, the singer said: “I was very well accompanied by my other half, my children, and then there were these thousands of messages, testimonies of love, support and good vibes.” And to add as a note of hope: “Now I’m coming out of the tunnel (…) This cancer kind of woke me up, and it redefined the meaning of my priorities.”
Florent Pagny, who could not calmly celebrate his 60th birthday on November 6, surely dreams of a big party for his next birthday. And to finally be able to find his favorite jury chair in “The Voice” at the start of the school year…
