1995: Launch of the first plancha
The idea of the plancha was born from the observation of the cooking system used in the village festivals of the South-West. A simple stove (used to sterilize homemade preserves) and a metal plate allow the inhabitants to cook. The House THE MARKER wasted no time in developing this cooking system for the general public and quickly making it known as the plancha in France.

In order to ensure full satisfaction for all of its customers, LE MARQUIER has set up an overhaul service which allows its plancha to be repaired even after 20 years!
