Expected at the end of November on the American platform Hulu and on the BBC in the United Kingdom, this series in six episodes has already been sold in more than 90 countries, announced Tuesday its co-producer Simon Andreae, the CEO of Fremantle UK, at Mipcom in Cannes. .

We discover the 30-year-old British actress humorously multiplying encounters and experiences – such as a blood test during an orgasm – around the world, following six different themes (female sexuality, gender, pornography, monogamy and beauty).

A personal journey for this spokesperson for the LGBTQ+ cause, who claims to be “100% queer “. From now on, “I accept myself more as I am”, she explained during a presentation on Tuesday at the largest international market for audiovisual content.

“I learned a lot of things”, she added, happy with the educational vocation of her program, where we learn in particular that the human body produces its own type of cannabis after an orgasm or that an island Indonesian has five different sexual genders.

Women and men need to know better the springs of female pleasure, she believes, judging “completely crazy that we walked on the moon before mapping the clitoris”.

Very open on questions of sexuality, the actress was above all shocked to see the impact of porn on the younger generations.

However, she hopes to “open the dialogue” beyond the young audiences the program seems to be aimed at. “It’s one of the most fascinating topics in the world, let’s not talk about rain or shine or what we’re going to do on the weekend, let’s talk about sex,” she said.

Among the broadcasters already seduced by the concept are Téva of the M6 group in France, Amazon Prime Video in Canada, RTL in Germany and Viaplay in the Scandinavian countries, according to a press release from Fremantle.
