Plane collision in Japan: five people dead

A plane in flames on the tarmac of Tokyo airport, the blaze is difficult to control. A few minutes before, it was 5:47 p.m., a Japan Airlines airbus collided with another aircraft as it landed. The Airbus caught fire and ended its journey nose to the ground and on its stomach. At that point, the flames had not yet reached the interior. The passengers are stunned but remain calm. Seconds seem like hours.

“A disaster film”

“Suddenly there was a boom, and my face felt very hot. A real disaster movie”, testifies a passenger. Very quickly, everyone is evacuated by the slides. They are all shocked, some slightly injured, but alive. According to the investigation, the plane hit a coast guard plane which was about to take off towards the areas affected by the earthquake. Five of the six occupants died.
