Better late than never ! After having canceled the most beautiful day of their life several times because of the pandemic, Pixie Lott and her companion, Oliver Cheshire finally got married. The 31-year-old singer caused a stir in 2009 with the release of her debut album Turn it up which earned him the MTV Pulse Artist of the Year award. The two lovebirds celebrated their union on the side of Ely in England.
It was an event that could not be more expected, since this Monday, Pixie and Oliver finally said “yes” after an engagement in 2016. Their wedding had already been planned for 2020 before being postponed several times because of the global Covid-19 pandemic. But this week, the couple rectified the situation with an absolutely sublime ceremony near the city of Ely and its fabulous cathedral 130 km north of London. A privileged moment that the beautiful singer, 31, and the model, 34, were able to spend surrounded by their loved ones and families. Among the witnesses of the bride, we could note the presence of Sabrina Elba, Emma Weymouth and Danny Jones.
pixie had opted for an incredible ivory dress for her appearance in the cathedral, a piece that had the distinction of being adorned with jewels and featuring transparent sleeves. The party was in full swing, especially when the newlyweds came out of the cathedral accompanied by an orchestra (see slideshow).
After long months of waiting, it was last March that the final details of the evening were finalized. Indeed, the singer had not lost patience in the tedious organization of the event, jostled several times by the confinements. “I didn’t want to do it as long as there were restrictions and we couldn’t invite everyone because of the sanitary rules. I wanted to wait until we could have a big party” she explained. A wait that was certainly worth it!
