Pittsburgh Penguins | Two more seasons for veteran Jeff Carter

Acquired from the Kings last April, Carter won the Stanley Cup with Los Angeles in 2012 and 2014.

In 50 regular season games with Pittsburgh, Carter has 21 goals and 37 points. This season, Carter has 12 goals and 26 points in 36 games.

He is one of seven active players with at least 400 NHL goals.

A star player in 2009 and 2017, Carter also played with the Philadelphia Flyers (2005-11) and the Columbus Blue Jackets (2011-12).

Overall, Carter had 788 points, including 411 goals, in 1,130 regular season games.

Originally from London, Ontario, Carter won Olympic gold in 2014, alongside Sidney Crosby, among others. He then scored three goals and five points for Canada in six games.

Carter was chosen 11and overall in 2003, by the Philadelphia Flyers.
