(Pittsburgh) Teddy Blueger of the Pittsburgh Penguins will miss six to eight weeks with a broken jaw on Sunday.

He has since had surgery. Blueger was injured when the Jets’ Brenden Dillon hit the boards in the first period. Pittsburgh beat Winnipeg 3-2 in a shootout.
Playing in the center of the fourth line, the 27-year-old Latvian has eight goals and 17 points this season, in 40 games.
He excels with his team on the penalty kill, helping the unit to offer the best success rate in the NHL (89.1%).
Undefeated in their last five games, the Penguins will play again Tuesday night at home against Arizona.
