Pittsburgh Penguins | Marc Bergevin among the candidates for the post of general manager

Marc Bergevin is one of ten candidates for the position of general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

According to what Pierre Lebrun, informant of TSN reports, the former general manager of the Canadian was part of the “10 to 12” candidates who were met as part of a first wave of interviews via Zoom.

Eric Tulsky, assistant general manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, Jason Karmanos, assistant general manager of the Buffalo Sabres, and Peter Chiarelli, vice president of hockey operations for the St. Louis Blues, are some of the other candidates for the estate of Ron Hextall, who was fired last month.

Recall that Marc Bergevin, who was thanked by the Habs in November 2021, has acted as senior advisor to the general manager of the Los Angeles Kings since January 2022.
