With one gold medal and five silver medals, France is in eleventh place in the medal standings before the start of this sixth day of official competition, Thursday 10 February. The aligned Blues intend to inflate the number of medals of the tricolor clan.
• Alexis Pinturault walks away from Olympic gold. Medalist in Sochi (bronze in giant slalom) and Pyeongchang (bronze in giant slalom and silver in combined), the French still runs behind a gold medal at the Olympic Games. The combined could represent his best chance, as the native of Moûtiers dominated the discipline when it was still on the World Cup program. Composed of a descent (at 3h30) then a slalom (at 7h15), the combined is a very complete discipline. But his downhill performance penalized him heavily.

• The novelty of the mixed acrobatic jump. No French on this event but spectacular figures in anticipation from 12 hours. Three skiers, with at least one male and one female, will be entered by each nation. The scores of the three jumpers will be added together to establish the ranking. The Russians, the Swiss and the Chinese are favourites.
