Pink line in Lachine | The consultation unlocked

Public consultations on the southwest end of Mayor Valérie Plante’s “pink line” project will begin in mid-January.

The Press revealed at the end of November that they should have been held this fall, but that the office of Prime Minister François Legault had decided to put them on ice.

“As of January 16, 2024, the population and representatives of civil society organizations will be invited to participate in public information meetings to learn about the proposals analyzed and discuss with experts,” announced the Regional Authority metropolitan transport system (ARTM). “Until February 11, 2024, participants will also be able to provide their comments on the online consultation platform. »

The consultation will focus on seven different route options to connect Lachine to downtown Montreal.
