Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss and Alessia Herren Reveal Exciting Post-Jungle Camp Plans

Lilly Becker, 48, claimed victory as jungle queen in the RTL show ‘I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!’, with Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss and Alessia Herren finishing second and third, respectively. Becker expressed immense joy at reuniting with her family. The finalists praised her deserving title, reflecting on their experiences and weight loss during the competition. Looking ahead, Sanoussi-Bliss is involved in theater, while Herren humorously aims to be an Aldi saleswoman, both content with their journeys.

Lilly Becker Crowned Jungle Queen

Lilly Becker, aged 48, celebrated a triumphant victory at the jungle camp on Sunday night. Joining her on the winners’ podium were Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss, 62, in second place, and Alessia Herren, 23, who secured a commendable third place, much like her late father, Willi Herren. At a press conference following the finale of the RTL show ‘I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!’ (also available on RTL+), Becker expressed her overwhelming pride and joy, stating, “I feel so good because I finally had my family in my arms again.”

Reflections from the Finalists

Sanoussi-Bliss shared his elation, admitting he never anticipated reaching such heights in the competition, highlighting the numerous calls of support he received along the way. Both finalists agreed on one key point: Lilly Becker rightfully earned her title as jungle queen. “Absolutely,” Sanoussi-Bliss affirmed when asked if she deserved the honor. He felt no disappointment and wished well for others. Herren echoed this sentiment, declaring, “Lilly absolutely deserves the crown,” while also asserting that she and Sanoussi-Bliss are winners in their own right, stating, “In our hearts, we are still the winners, just without the crown.”

Herren expressed confidence in her performance, insisting that she wouldn’t change a thing about her journey. “You can make mistakes and learn from them, but as a person, I remain as I am,” she noted, emphasizing that she “did everything right.”

The jungle camp experience left noticeable marks on both contestants. Herren revealed she lost “five or six kilos,” while Sanoussi-Bliss noted a weight loss of “exactly nine and a half kilos.” Both expressed relief at leaving the camp behind, with Herren stating, “I won’t miss anything – neither the animals nor the outdoor life.”

Looking ahead, Sanoussi-Bliss confirmed that he has “no need for discussion with anyone” now that the competition has concluded. He plans to meet Lilly Becker at a restaurant of his choice on Friday. Likewise, Herren appeared to have resolved any lingering issues from the camp, saying, “Sure, there were a few complications, but we talked things out in the camp, and for me, everything is settled.”

As for their future endeavors, Herren humorously expressed her aspiration to become a saleswoman at Aldi, a dream she had mentioned during her time in the camp. Sanoussi-Bliss shared that he currently has “no offers in film and television,” but he is actively appearing in the crime series ‘Boom Boom Bruno’ alongside Ben Becker. Additionally, he is performing at the Kleine Theater am Südwestkorso in Berlin in the production of ‘Miss Daisy and the Chauffeur,’ a play he also directed.

While he hasn’t ruled out participating in another reality show, he is particular about his conditions. “Reality is not the same as reality,” he remarked, noting he has never watched the jungle camp before and needs to explore other shows first. He emphasized his preference for a format “without sleep deprivation, without hunger,” and with at least one functioning portable toilet, citing ‘The Traitors’ as a potential example of a more suitable reality show.
