Getting a kickback in general sucks, but when it comes from a Hollywood star? A little less, especially when you are Pierre Niney. In an interview for the magazine voguepublished on May 29, the actor recounts the biggest failure he has faced. We go back in time to 2006, direction Cannes festival.
“I met Brad Pitt. Well, he met my back instead… When I got here I was 17, I had only acted in a short film, and one day I arrived in front of the Palais des Festivals where there was a wall of photographers“, he first recounted, thinking that it was him in the spotlight. “I thought it was for us and I said to myself ‘Wow, Cannes is a real thing!’. And there, a hand staggered me… It was Brad Pitt. He told me ‘Sorry’ and gently pushed me“, he continued.
If this failure remains etched in the mind of the French actor, it is another Hollywood star that he would really like to seduce. Last February on Instagram, Pierre Niney revealed to be in love with the star of the series “Euphoria”: Zendaya. It was through a photo montage in which he replaced Tom Holland’s head with his own during a scene from the last “Spiderman” where he hugs the actress that the actor revealed his love to him. “Is this going too far? No”, he commented. And currently in a relationship with Tom Holland, it’s a second wind that Pierre Niney takes from a Hollywood superstar!
Fortunately, the actor can console himself in the arms of Natasha Andrews, his companion since 2008. Together, they had two little girls, Lola, born in 2017 and Billie, in 2019.
