.

The 66-year-old actor was a guest on the cultural show Norman bib and took advantage of his visit to announce the sad news for fans of the soap opera. In fact, he indicates that he is “move on”. “But I really enjoyed playing the role of Léo Castelli, this character of a somewhat withdrawn cop, very sensitive and obsessed with his work. Pierre Martot will not return in “Plus belle la vie” but has good memories

He regrets nothing about his time in More beautiful life, quite the contrary. Especially since he would not have imagined for a single second joining the casting. At the time he was cast, Pierre Martot is going through a very difficult time. But a twist of fate changed his life. “I was taking my son to take the train to Paris. A car passes in front of us and a little further on. The passenger was the daughter of the producer of the series PJ, who a few weeks later would participate in the production of Plus belle la life”remembered the 66-year-old actor before continuing: “She asks me for news. I explained to her that I didn’t work much. She told me that she was going to talk to her mother about it. And three weeks later, I was called for the casting of Plus belle la vie”.

The periods of the Covid-19 pandemic and confinement had a negative impact on Pierre Martot. The actor explains that he had a bad experience but it is above all the changes made to his character, following this period, which will not suit him. An element that pushed him to stop everything to devote himself to his other passion, which is theater.
