Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shay Smith first met at a party in 1994. Previously, the star actor of james bond was married to actress Cassandra Harris, who died in 1991 aged 43 from ovarian cancer. In eleven years of relationship, they had a son, Sean, born in 1983. Pierce also has two children whom he adopted after the death of their father Dermot Harris in 1986: Charlotte, born in 1971 and died in 2013 from ovarian cancer and Christopher, born in 1972 who are the eldest children of Cassandra Harris.

Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith finally married in Ireland in 2001. In the meantime, they had a son, Dylan Thomas, born in 1997 and a daughter, Paris Beckett, born in 2001. In an interview with the British newspaper The Sun in 2018, Pierce Brosnan confided in his relationship with his dear and tender Keely: “Wherever I went in the world, I missed her, and I sent her plane tickets to come and be together”
On the career side, filming resumes for Pierce Brosnan and in France! Tuesday, August 2, the 69-year-old actor shot his new film The Last Rifleman in Bayeux in Normandy. This feature film tells the escape of a veteran of the Second World War who settles in a retirement home but wishes to go to Normandy to attend the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings, D-Day. The release is scheduled for 2023.
