From April 15 to August 28, 2022, wine and art go hand in hand at the Cité du vin in Bordeaux for “Picasso, the effervescence of forms”, an exhibition with France Bleu Gironde
How do wine and popular spirits find their way into the work of Pablo Picasso? To answer this question, head to the Cité du vin in Bordeaux to discover an exceptional new exhibition! “Picasso, the effervescence of forms” is unveiled to the public from Friday April 15 to August 28, 2022 and promises to be the cultural event of this spring.

More than 80 works are presented for the exhibition “Picasso, the effervescence of forms”. Through a wide range of themes and media (paintings, drawings, films, etc.), you will discover the place of wine and popular spirits in the work of Pablo Picasso.
Accustomed to cultural events and meetings, the Cité du Vin is joining forces with the Musée national Picasso-Paris and the Museu Picasso in Barcelona to offer you this unique exhibition. Drunkenness of life, senses and forms mingle during the visit which revolves around five sections imagined by the Maciej Fiszer workshop. An original way to (re)discover the universe of the famous artist thanks to an inventive scenography.
