[PHOTOS] Pointe-Claire: unscathed after a spectacular accident

A 40-year-old man escaped almost unscathed after a spectacular accident in Pointe-Claire, in the west of the island of Montreal, on the night of Monday to Tuesday.

The Montreal police were alerted at around 2:50 a.m. about a vehicle accident located on avenue Donegani, near boulevard des Sources.

The driver who was traveling on the viaduct on Boulevard des Sources reportedly lost control of his vehicle, which fell under the viaduct before ending his race near a bus shelter on Avenue Donegani.

Miraculously, the driver suffered only minor injuries and he was nevertheless transported to a hospital, said the spokesperson for the Montreal Police Department, Julien Lévesque.

Investigators were to travel to the scene to analyze the scene and try to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.

It is not known if the alcohol and the speed had something to do with this off the road.
