For 40 years in North America (a little longer in Japan), the Toyota Camry has been the reliable means of transportation for families. Reliability is the key word here. Toyota has tried to “jazz up” the car (notably thanks to the Solara coupes and convertibles) but nothing works, the Camry keeps its serious vehicle business… which has made it a best-seller.
