[PHOTOS] A new $21 million condo for Rihanna

Since 2014, Rihanna has owned a luxurious three-bedroom condo in ‘The Century’ building in Los Angeles, but with a second baby on the way she decided to get her hands on the building’s Penthouse for no less than 21 million. $US, or more than $28 million CAD.

Located on the 40th floor, it is one of the largest condos in “The Century”, according to the American site “Dirt”. Covering 9,000 square feet, the property was advertised at $28 million US – more than 37 million CAD – by seller Nick Molnar, the billionaire who founded the company Afterpay, a price that the singer managed to bring down.

Note that this discount sale represents a loss for the billionaire who bought the property less than two years ago from Chandler’s interpreter in the “Friends” series, Matthew Perry, who had the place decorated with the help of an architect and an interior designer.

This luxurious condo includes a private elevator leading directly into the property, a soundproof cinema room and four outdoor terraces.

“The Century” also hosts many celebrities, including actor Denzel Washington.
