It was out of pure friendship that Philippe agreed to play the lead role in the vaudeville film written by his old friend, author and director, Paul Félix. Devastated by the nullity of the text, Philippe improvises under the hallucinated gaze of the other members of the most improbable of theater troupes. On the brink of throwing in the towel, Paul-Félix decides to take everyone to the countryside thanks to the generosity of Guislaine, the dean with the clubfoot, who won the Sports Loto. Fishing, freesbeeing, drowning, flirting are on the program for this bucolic weekend, full of twists and turns, where love, friendship and tenderness will eventually win out.
Philippe Lelièvre interprets all the roles at a hellish pace, going from an alcoholic to a young first, from a former member of the Actor’s Studio to a simpleton, and we no longer know if these characters really exist, or if they came out of the imagination of a slightly, even seriously, frosty actor.
