Comedian Philippe Bond announces that he is retiring from public life, after the publication of an article in which several women denounce him for sexual misconduct.
An article published in “La Presse” on Thursday details various assaults alleged by eight women on the part of the comedian.
In a short message posted to Philippe Bond’s verified Instagram account, the comedian said he was “appalled” by what he read in the article.

He also claims that he does not recognize the person described there.
“Out of respect for my collaborators and my employers who have worked with me for years and because I want to spare them from having to answer an avalanche of questions from journalists, I am withdrawing from everything, as much from public life as from radio and shows. »
He concludes by saying he is overwhelmed by what his children and his wife will have to go through with him.
