Geoxia, the owner of Maisons Phénix, went into liquidation last month. A procedure that stopped 1,600 construction sites and angered several thousand people.

Their life project is gradually turning into a nightmare. For thousands of future owners who had trusted Maisons Phénix for the construction of their new home, it’s a cold shower. The group Geoxia, owner of these Maisons Phénix, was placed in liquidation last month. 1,600 construction sites are therefore at a standstill in France with walls without roofs, simple concrete slabs or even still virgin land stopped in their tracks.

“It’s a lot of disappointment, but above all hatred”says Florian Hinault whose construction of his house in Saint-Masmes, in the Marne, was stopped. Confused customers who have organized themselves collectively to find solutions and help each other. “It allows you to feel less alone and to be supported”admits Lolita Martinho, who awaits her, a home to Fismes (Marl). The solution should come from insurance, supposed to guarantee the end of the work, but the delays could be substantial.
