Beauty masks, theme parks or even hotels. The offer is expanding for the four-legged companions of the French. In recent years, the market has grown. In Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), an academy is dedicated to the well-being of pets. 400 students are trained each year, at an average cost of 1,500 euros. There are more and more candidates.
Accounts that are all the rage on social networks
On social networks, certain accounts are all the rage. A chiropractor has 3 million subscribers. “We feel that the animal is not necessarily something pleasant for it”, however, warns Charlotte Coupé, animal osteopath in the Paris region. She opts for a different method. After five years of study and a diploma recognized by the order of veterinarians, she receives nearly 80 animals per month. The session, at a minimum of 65 euros, is only partially reimbursed by complementary health insurance.
