“The comedian experiences great anxiety, which is directly linked to the idea of going back on stage, and it increases more and more as he sees his first date of show approaching quickly”, explains in a long release his production company Entourage.

The decision to postpone the tour “in order to allow him to get better” was thus taken by mutual agreement.

“The other spheres of his life are going well, but it is really the idea of going back on stage after an absence of two years that is currently causing him a blockage,” one explains.

After having identified the cause of his growing discomfort, the comedian took “the necessary means” to find “the solutions he needed”. Peter MacLeod is currently accompanied by a psychologist specializing in performance anxiety and is already seeing “positive results”.

The postponement dates have not yet been announced and will be according to the evolution of the situation, “when Peter is better and is ready to go back on stage”. All ticket buyers will be contacted by their venue to have the procedure explained to them.

The comedian and host apologized to his fans in a message on Facebook.

“I apologize to all those who bought tickets and were looking forward to the show. I can’t wait to be able to meet you in a performance hall, but in the next few months, I will focus on getting better in order to be in great shape to get back on the stage. ”
