Perrine Laffont leaves for four years, and aims for the 2026 Olympics

Pete keep going! After many questions, following her failure at the last Olympic Games, Perrine Laffont finally decided to re-enlist. The 2018 Olympic mogul ski champion finished fourth in Beijing, and she is now aiming for another medal at the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan – Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy. This will be his main objective in the next four years.

“My end to the season in Megève with a new little globe of Cristal convinced me, motivated me for the future” explains Perrine Laffont. “So I decided to stack up and put all the chances on my side to stay on the front of the stage for the next four years. (…) I have a visceral passion for my sport and, even if I struggled to recover from my beautiful fourth place in Beijing, I still have a lot of desire and thirst for competition”.

At only 23 years old, the track record of the Ariégeoise des Monts d’Olmes is impressive. In addition to her Olympic title in 2018, she has won 26 World Cups. She is also the winner of five small Crystal Globes and two large Globes, and she is a triple World Champion.

Perrine Laffont has resumed training since the beginning of May, with a new staff appointed by the French Ski Federation. Albert Bdeouet thus succeeds Ludovic Didier at the head of the French mogul ski team. The Ariège skier will also be accompanied at certain times by a personal trainer.
