The Vintage Days are back after a two-year hiatus due to the health crisis. Vintage in all its forms is in the spotlightr all weekend in the city center of Périgueux but also, and this is a novelty, in Coursac. Many parades of old vehicles and fashion are planned.
France Bleu Périgord will be live on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Place Robert Badinter, come see us!
Saturday September 3
9:30 a.m.: parade of vintage vehicles from Cours Tourny
2:30 p.m.: start of a vintage car race in Coursac, route des Brandaux on a closed circuit. The arrival is planned in front of the village church
2:30 p.m.: parade on foot from the square of the old town hall. Only one condition to be dressed in vintage with clothes and accessories. It is open to all.
3:30 p.m.: vintage fashion show with award ceremony at the Esplanade Robert Badinter
6 p.m.: junior vintage parade with parade car with pedals or pedestrian traction
6-8 p.m.: vintage swing ball on the Robert Badinter esplanade
7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.: vintage gourmet market place de la Clautre in Périgueux, flonflon atmosphere and musette ball before an evening guinguette and rick and roll place de la mairie.
A tavern evening is organized on Saturday evening in Coursac on the main square
Sunday September 4
9am-6pm: vintage flea market Place de la Clautre
2:30 p.m.-5 p.m.: Dance competition
Parking and traffic
The Tourny car park will be completely closed to parking except for owners of vintage vehicles and until 8 p.m. Sunday evening. Allée Tourny will be closed between the Yves Guéna roundabout and rue Paul-Louis Courier.
It will also be forbidden to park in the parking lot of Place Bugeaud as well as in many streets of the city center.
Traffic will be prohibited on Boulevard Montaigne from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
