After the appointment of a Prime Minister from the LR, it is LFI which is organizing the response in the streets. Calls to demonstrate this Saturday, September 7 in dozens of cities across the country. 30,000 participants are expected, as in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes).
Anger and incomprehension this Saturday, September 7 in the morning in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes). Nearly 500 people gathered at Place Garibaldi. Behind the demonstration: youth organizations. Their target: Emmanuel Macron. “Michel Barnier is the very embodiment of ultra-liberalism”said Robert Injey, former departmental head of the PCF. “With Emmanuel Macron, they form a duo that must agree on almost everything”he added.
Many supporters of the New Popular Front (NFP) are present, all very upset after the rejection by the President of the Republic of a government from the left-wing coalition. “The French people wanted, in a relative majority of course, that there be a left-wing government”explained a protester. In total, 150 demonstrations and rallies are planned in France this Saturday.
