“People expect us to continue until victory, that is to say the withdrawal of the law”says François Hommeril, president of the CFE-CGC on franceinfo Monday, March 27 on the eve of the tenth day of national mobilization against the pension reform. “When we manage to maintain such a strong, united, united mobilization, we cannot stop it like that.” According to him, the determinationdid not weaken”, “This project must be withdrawn”. François Hommeril nevertheless fears the violence on the sidelines of the demonstration and qualifies the “black blocks” of “parasites of the social movement”. For him, violent actions “weaken the social movement”.

He wonders about the hand extended by Elisabeth Borne who offers to receive trade unions and employers’ organizations the week of April 10: “Is it the hand that refused to grab the pole that we sent to the President of the Republic two weeks ago?”he asks himself. “It’s difficult to go and play belote with someone convinced of cheating in the previous game”he adds, referring to the use of 49.3 to have the reform adopted without a vote. “It’s not going to be easy to rebuild something.”

The trade unionist will respond positively to the Prime Minister’s invitation: “I do not skip appointments at Matignon, I have a mandate and I have no reason not to go at the invitation of the Prime Minister”he explains, but reiterates his request for the withdrawal of the pension reform.
