“I will vote for all the motions of censure that come my way” in the event of use of 49-3 by the government to have its pension reform adopted, assured Tuesday March 14 on franceinfo the deputy Les Républicains du Territoire de Belfort Ian Boucard, on the eve of the meeting of the joint joint committee. Seven deputies and seven senators must agree on a compromise text, submitted – if agreed – to the approval of the Senate and then of the National Assembly on Thursday March 16.
Final decision of the Parliament expected this Thursday
MP LR, who is a rebel within his group in the lower house of Parliament, says “don’t expect anything” of this mixed parity committee: “I know that I am going to vote against this reform which is unfair, which is budgetary inefficient and which falls at a very bad tempo for the French”.
“If there were only slingers like me in our political family, the Republican right would be much better.”
Ian Boucard, MP LRon franceinfo
“I was hostile from the start, and the more the weeks go by, the more I am against it”he adds. “Passing 49-3 of such a central and essential bill would be terrible democratically and yes, I will vote for any no-confidence motions that come my way.”
