Pension reform: examples of withdrawals of texts in recent history “have never been favorable thereafter”, considers François Bayrou

Wednesday March 29, François Bayrou, president of the MoDem and high commissioner for the Plan, was the guest of “4 Truths” on France 2. Asked about the establishment of a referendum on pension reform, François Bayrou said: “I think it was a method, the referendum.“ But with the adoption of the reform, “we can’t change lines at this point”he estimated, before recalling the “elementary moral necessity to rebalance our pension system”.
