Pension reform: “4 out of 10 French people will leave, after our reform, before the age of 64”, says Gabriel Attal

Monday, February 13, Gabriel Attal, Minister Delegate in charge of Public Accounts, is the guest of “4 Truths” on France 2. He first returns to the revaluation of the minimum retirement pension provided for by the government reform. Gabriel Attal indicates that 1.8 million current retirees “will see their pension revalued”and “among them, several hundred thousand will have the minimum pension at 1,200 euros” because they will have completed a full career at minimum wage.

200,000 new pensions revalued each year

“Among the new retirees, you have around 200,000 each year who will have their pension revalued”continues the Minister Delegate in charge of Public Accounts. He then returns to the extension of the long career system provided for by the pension reform. “Four out of ten French people will leave, after our reform, before the age of 64 (…). Because they started working young, because they had a tough job”says Gabriel Attal.
