The Venice Film Festival hosted ultra-glamorous stars on its prestigious red carpet on September 4, 2022. Virginie Efira was literally stunning, but she was not the only one to turn heads this Sunday. The divine Penélope Cruz was eagerly awaited for the presentation of L’Immensita. The 48-year-old Spanish actress chose Chanel outfits for the red carpet photocall, of which she is one of the precious ambassadors. The least we can say is that the Oscar-winning star represents the French house wonderfully.
Penélope Cruz chose long Chanel dresses to ensure her appearances in the Venetian city with infinite elegance. The wife of Javier Bardem and mother of their two children was absolutely impeccable in defending the feature film by Italian Emanuele Crialese (Respiro).
In this intense work which takes place in the 1970s, the Iberian artist plays the role of Clara, married to a violent man. Very close to her children, she faces the questioning of the gender of the girl who would like to be a boy. An autobiographical film for the filmmaker because before his arrival on the Lido, Emanuele Crialese had indeed confided that L’Immensita was inspired by his own story, revealing in passing that he was a transgender man. A film about the quest for oneself, but also about depression and the weight of patriarchy.
Emotion was therefore present with the screening of L’Immensita, applauded by stars of the podiums present on the red carpet: Irina Shayk and Stella Maxwell. The two models and friends had coordinated their black dresses to shine in front of the objectives. Sculptural, the beautiful Russian of 36 had recently made the news for a completely different reason than her beauty: her vacation photos with her ex Bradley Cooper, father of her daughter born in 2017, had not gone unnoticed. They have cast doubt on a possible flashback which has so far not been confirmed or denied.
