Penélope Cruz and Brad Pitt are united in a short film for Chanel, in homage to the film A man and a woman, by Claude Lelouch.
It was at the opening of Chanel’s fall-winter 2024-2025 fashion show, during Paris fashion week, that the film was screened in the presence of Penélope Cruz and Claude Lelouch.
In black and white, the two actors, seated opposite each other in a restaurant (with the iconic quilted Chanel 11.12 bag in the foreground), play lovers, to the famous music composed by Francis Lai.
Just like in the feature film which dates from 1966, we also see Penélope Cruz and Brad Pitt walking on the beach in Deauville, in Normandy, a place which has always inspired Coco Chanel.
The fashion photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh signs this delicious short film which ends with the sentence spoken by Penélope Cruz to the waitress, the model Rianne Van Rompaey: Do you have any rooms available? (Do you have a spare room? )
