Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will travel to kyiv, capital of Ukraine, on Saturday July 1, on the first day of Spain’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. The announcement of this visit was made Thursday by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during an exchange by videoconference with the 27 EU leaders meeting at the summit in Brussels. “The head of government wanted the first act of the Spanish presidency to be to make visible (…) the European Union’s unfailing support for Ukraine in all areas: military, humanitarian and economic”, confirmed shortly after the services of Pedro Sanchez. The 27 renew their support for Ukraine.
