Three years after an initial investigation, new accusations of pedophilia target the author Gabriel Matzneff. A fifty-year-old accuses the writer of having sexually abused her when she was a child.
The facts allegedly occurred between 1977 and 1987. The woman who is now around fifty years old accuses Gabriel Matzneff, a close friend of her parents, of sexual violence when she was a child. Acts which were allegedly committed in particular at the family home. “These are facts of rape and sexual assault that she suffered on the one hand at the hands of her father (…), and facts that she suffered at the hands of Gabriel Matzneff”explains his lawyer.
A second investigation
It was by letter that the alleged victim alerted the Paris prosecutor’s office last October. She claims to be in possession of documents found at her parents’ home. She asks to be heard by the courts. A preliminary investigation for “rape of a minor under 15 years old” was then opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office. The investigations are entrusted to the juvenile office. This investigation is the second targeting Gabriel Matzneffafter Vanessa’s accusations Springora.
