Pebble Beach AT&T Pro-Am | Justin Rose ends four-year winless drought

(Pebble Beach) Justin Rose quickly put an end to the suspense with three birdies early in the round to win the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach by three shots.

This victory allowed him to end a four-year drought and make him eligible to participate in the Masters Tournament.

Rose played it safe in the final holes, finishing his round with four easy pars to put up a 66, six under par, for a cumulative score of 269 (minus-18), three strokes ahead of Brendon Todd (65) and Brandon Wu (66).

This is his 11e victory on the PGA Tour and his 23e in a career, but his first since that acquired at Torrey Pines, in 2019, when he was ranked first in the world. This scarcity caused it to slip well below the top 50. He had been eligible for every Major since the 2010 British Open, but without a win that streak was under threat.

Canadian Taylor Pendrith played an excellent round 64 to jump 25 spots in the standings and finish tied for seventh, six strokes behind the winner. Nick Taylor (69) finished in 20e place, four strokes further. Their compatriots Michael Giglic and Ben Silverman had not been selected after the first two rounds.
