In May 2020, Radio Radio – Jacques Alphonse Doucet (Jacobus) and Gabriel B. Malenfant – offered Last Call, a title that seemed to announce that the Acadian duo had reached the end of the track. He apparently still had a few colorful rhymes to offer and, better yet, a few of these grooves festive raps that defined the group’s career. It is on the aspect of the musical composition and the realization that Radio Radio manages to renew itself, as with the instrument ofUptown, one of the best of the album with the dance nuggets Over the Top and Last Call. However, apart from this interesting reflection on the Acadian accent (Seal with his balloon), the duo are still trampling on the same themes of the jet-set (Around the world), glitter and hype (Such dope), so much so that no one will be surprised to learn that the duo cracked a song about cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin Blow Up). A nice record, as the duo always is, but superficial.
