The Ministry of Transport proceeded on Saturday to the preventive closure of Highway 20, in both directions, due to a risk of subsidence of the roadway in the sector.
A team from the Ministry of Transport and agents from the Sûreté du Québec were deployed on the ground.
Vehicle traffic is redirected for an indefinite period to exit 181, rue Montplaisir, route 122 and route 143.
In a press release, the city of Drummondville invites the population to avoid the sector as much as possible, which is highly congested.
