He was a champion of the “12 Coups de Midi” on TF1. He has Asperger’s autism and is in a complicated phase of his life. “He” is none other than Paul El Kharrat. The former candidate of Jean-Luc Reichmann’s program was among the guests of the 750th of “It starts today”, hosted by Faustine Bollaert. This one coming back in particular on his experience in the game broadcast every lunchtime on the first channel which allowed him to do a lot of work on himself although he still needs to work on his apprehension of the world which surrounds him as he let it know. Always very cash in his remarks, Paul El Kharrat revealed to Faustine Bollaert that he had great difficulty, even today, in expressing his feelings and his happiness even when he does something that he likes.
Even more surprising, he would never say the word “happiness”. “I never say the word happiness because it is much too strong, too significant for me”first confessed the former candidate of “12 Coups de midi” before providing a little more detail: “We are in a show where there are a lot of feelings, emotion. Me, when I don’t feel well, I find it pathetic, I’m sorry for you. But when I don’t feel well, I’m very, very tough, very, very strict. I can’t stand when the other is happy, when the other is happy, it’s great…”
In line with what he was saying, the one who officiates regularly in Laurent Ruquier’s Les Grosses Têtes revealed his strange feeling when he came across Faustine Bollaert’s show: “For example, when I’m at home and I’m watching your show and it’s crying, I find it ridiculous. But I’m in another form, I’m just the opposite. No outpouring, I’m not crying. It feels like I’m super tough”. The host not wanting Paul El Kharrat, or almost: “There, a little, but I know it’s not quite true”.
