Pau FC wins its first victory of the season in Laval

It’s been a while, but it’s finally here! Pau FC won its first success of the season in Laval (0-1) thanks to a goal from Mons Bassouamina in the 87th minute. But the Palois were slow to break the Laval lock, the fault of a lack of offensive efficiency in the last thirty meters.

In this match, the goalkeepers also shone. First the Mayenne goalkeeper Alexis Sauvage on a header from Papa Ibnou Ba (36th). Before the stoppage of the evening, a sublime horizontal from Pau Alexandre Olliero to release an equally beautiful outside right foot from Julien Maggiotti at the start of the second period.

Pau is no longer last

With this third game in a row without defeat, after this first victory of the season, Pau FC is still relegated but is no longer last in Ligue 2. A victory at the right time, away, before the reception of Valenciennes on Saturday next to the Nouste Camp.
