Defensive back Miles Bryant sealed his victory by knocking down an assist from Josh Allen at the goal line as the Bills faced a fourth down and 14 yards to go with 1:55 to go.

QB Mac Jones only attempted three passes and the Patriots relied on their running game to outscore the Bills 229-99 in that regard.

The Patriots (9-4) won their seventh straight game, bringing their road record to 6-0 this season, and they took the exclusive lead in the American Association’s Eastern Division, ahead of the Bills (7-5).

Harris concluded the game with 111 rushing yards and opened the scoring in the Patriots’ ninth offensive game. On a third down and five yards to go, Harris squeezed through a gap in the center and was left untouched for the end zone.

With more than 60 kilometers an hour wind blowing in his face, head coach Bill Belichick decided to attempt a two-point convert. Brandon Bolden did it by passing inside the left post.

The Patriots never shot from behind in the game and kicker Nick Folk added two field goals. He made his two attempts, on 34 and 41 yards, with the wind at his back.

The Bills were once again inconsistent and lost for the fourth time in their last seven outings. The Buffalo Troops haven’t won two in a row since a four-game winning streak from September 19 to October 10.
