Patrick Sébastien “deeply sad”: he faces a huge blow, his difficult speech

In 2018, Patrick Sébastien undoubtedly received one of the worst news of his career. After twenty-three great years spent on France 2, the host was ousted from the channel very brutally. It was recorded: he would no longer present The Biggest Cabaret in the World. A twist that he did not digest at all and which prompted him to sue his ex-employer.

Determined to continue to highlight the middle of the show in spite of everything, Patrick Sébastien revived The biggest cabaret in the world, in the form of a tour throughout France. In 2021, 100,000 spectators had shown themselves to be loyal to the mountebank by attending his shows. A nice success which persuaded him to repeat the experience with a 2022/2023 tour. Unfortunately, this new project will not succeed.

Tuesday November 8, it is with a heavy heart that Patrick Sébastien announced the cancellation of his show. “It is with sadness that I was informed by the company Louping, producer of season 2 of the Biggest Cabaret in the Worldthe cancellation of the 2022/2023 tour for budgetary reasons“, he explained through an official press release. Patrick Sébastien then did not hide his disappointment, underlining his impossibility to change the situation: “Not being the producer of this tour, I am a victim of this choice, in the same way as artists, technicians and service providers. I am deeply sorry and sad.” In conclusion, Nana’s ex clarified that the “holders of tickets for this show, already very numerous, will be fully reimbursed to their resellers.”
