“Mr. Poivre d’Arvor tries to silence us and impress the women who have suffered unprescribed sexual violence from him and who could speak out“. This is what the journalist and screenwriter Hélène Devynck declared on April 27 in the columns of Releasewhile PPDA filed a second complaint this week against 16 women, who testified against him.
“We only ask to go to the bar“
He accuses them of beingdangerous slanderers who howl with wolves” for “power, fame, money, uniform” and ensures that all their reports were consensual. Opposite, Hélène Devynck and her colleagues do not budge. She also believes about the journalist: “There is so much excess in his position that it turns against him”.

Because indeed, today, all that women expect is to be able to speak, she says. “We are happy. We all hope that the action of PPDA succeeds and finally offers us the possibility of a lawsuit in front of justice, in spite of the prescription. We only ask to go to the bar to tell what happened to us – rapes, sexual assaults, harassment. We obviously maintain all of our accusations“.

After the very first complaint filed by Florence Porcel last year, they are now “about sixty to have spoken, including forty publicly” reports Hélène Devynck. And the latter to rejoice to conclude: “We didn’t know each other until we testified before the major. We all met afterwards. Our solidarity is the unique beauty of this story“.
