Patrick Balkany returns to prison

Justice revoked this Monday, February 7 the placement under electronic bracelet of Patrick Balkany. He was imprisoned at the beginning of the afternoon at the Fleury-Mérogis prison (Essone). The former mayor of Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine) sentenced to four years in prison, including three firm, for tax evasion then aggravated money laundering, must still serve more than half of his sentence there.

Isabelle Balkany is still hospitalized since Thursday after a suicide attempt, according to her husband, and cannot be summoned according to her doctors.
