The post-World Cup future is built in the XV of France. USA Perpignan manager Patrick Arlettaz was appointed by the French Rugby Federation on Thursday June 15 to take up the post of coach in charge of the Blues attack from January 2024 until June 2028. The one who had just completed his Catalan adventure by keeping the Perpignan club in the Top 14, following the play-off won against Grenoble (33-19), will join the staff of the XV of France ahead of the 2024 Six Nations Tournament. He will thus take over from Laurent Labit, leaving for the French stadium.

In addition to the upcoming arrival of the 51-year-old tactician, Laurent Sempéré and Nicolas Jeanjean, already present in the tricolor staff, will come to replace respectively Karim Ghezal, responsible for the touch, and Thibaud Giroud, performance manager. Fabien Galthié, Raphaël Ibanez and William Servat will continue the adventure with the Blues. A wink of fate, the future coach of the attack of the XV of France, Patrick Arlettaz, is one of the rare players to have more tries than selections in the blue jersey (two tries against Romania in 1995, during of his first and only selection).
