He had crossed paths with the biggest and the biggest. On Sunday August 14, 2022, the dancer and choreographer Arthur Plasschaert died, at the age of 92, in the department of Orne. Since his disappearance was made official, many tears have flowed down the cheeks of the artists who had had the chance to meet him. Patricia Kaas, who had benefited from his invaluable advice during the year 1995, also wanted to pay tribute to him, on social networks, by sharing a photograph that had been captured at the time of their meeting. He wore, then, a T-shirt from the musical Cats.
“Arthur Plasschaert… my bosswrites Patricia Kaas, heartbroken. Your grace and your immense generosity will make the stars dance.” It is certain that, up there, things must have been swinging severely since the arrival of the choreographer. During his lifetime, he had already been at the head of many performances, each one more brilliant than the next. But in 1990 , he had decided that his career had lasted long enough, he had left the life he led at 200 an hour in Paris to settle quietly in Normandy with his companion, Loïc Le Page. They had created, together, the Jazz’Orne Danse Festival which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2023.
