Last week, Patrice Demers and Marie-Josée Beaudoin announced a residency at the restaurant Fulgurances, Laundromat, in Brooklyn, for no less than seven weeks.
From May 2 to June 17, the renowned pastry chef, who will reconnect with his love of savoury, will take control of the kitchens, while his partner will take care of the dining room and the wine pairings. Fulgurances is a restaurant like no other, which changes chefs every two months. The food is reasonably priced, US$89 for a six-course tasting menu.
It’s a dream come true for the couple who love the Big Apple. Since the closure of Patrice Pâtissier on August 20, 2022, the inseparable have traveled and participated in various events. Marie-Josée helped launch the brand new Annette wine bar and Patrice is having a field day in his private kitchen developing new dishes.
