Crown Attorney Moiz Karimjee has announced that one charge of obstruction of justice and one of perjury have been added to the other counts brought against Pat King.
A publication ban has been applied for the evidence and circumstances that led to these additional charges.
Pat King was back in court for a bail review hearing, which was terminated on Wednesday after his lawyer, David Goodman’s computer was hacked.
After the announcement of a security problem on the computer tool, the lawyer had confirmed that his files had been compromised. His request for an adjournment was then granted.
Recall that Pat King was charged with mischief and counseling others to commit mischief. Due to a fear of recidivism, his request for release on bail on February 24 was refused.
