New week, new gourmet events! Launched on May 11, the third PastaFest continues until May 24. Pasta lovers will find something to eat in some twenty restaurants in the city that have concocted a special creation for the occasion, such as the Les Torchés tavern, which offers an amazing spaghetti sandwich, or addresses such as Le Petit Italien, Stellina, Il Miglio, Jacopo, Fiorella and Café Gentile.

If you’ve been to the Griffintown area recently, you’ve no doubt noticed the monstrous jobs that make life very hard for merchants. This is the case of the L’Amour du pain bakery at 323, rue de la Montagne, which saw its turnover decrease by 35%.
In an attempt to make the neighborhood vibrate a bit, the place is organizing a day on the theme of “Sharing the Love of Bread” on May 14. Mini-croissants and chocolatines will be offered free of charge to customers, in addition to product tastings, in collaboration with local partners. There will even be a DJ!
