It was time for confidences this Thursday, February 8, 2024, on the set of the show At Jordan’s. Pascal Bataille, who stars in the show Y’a que la vérité quicompte on C8, has made several surprising revelations about his life, starting with an update on his state of health. “I have had a tumor in my left ear for thirty years now. It is a benign tumor but which is still under surveillance and which has caused me a fairly significant loss of hearing on the left. I also have a small heart aneurysm which is being monitored.” he confided.
“The tumor is on the acoustic nerve, the nerve that transmits information to the brain.”. The host also explains that he has lost 75% of his hearing in his left ear but does not wear a hearing aid. “There is not much to do since it is the nerve that is damaged, it is not the eardrum” we then learn.
Father of four children, the 59-year-old host then talks about his two youngest sons. “A few months ago, a very intentional guy called me out and told me to fuck off with my two dirty Arab sons… I was touched, not that I discovered the racism against which I have always fought but indeed, when it touches the flesh of your flesh, you experience it differently and you especially experience the injustice of young people being attacked because we don’t like their father”.
Pascal Bataille weighs in on the odious behavior of Patrick Timsit
During the interview Jordan de Luxe then asks him who is the worst person he has met in the world of media. To which Pascal Bataille responds: “Patrick Timsit because he ruined our first show which was called ‘Y’a pas photo’ at the time. He really wasn’t generous and I don’t like people who aren’t generous . But maybe he’s a great guy! On the other hand, the only contact I had with him, he behaved like a bastard!”
Jordan de Luxe then tries to find out more about what might have happened at the time. Pascal Bataille explains: “Today, if I am invited by young presenters who are doing their first show, on a major TV channel, I am not going to spoil their show… For example, stand out in the audience and say: ‘Look how it is’ is zero !’ and then quit the show in the middle…”. And to conclude: “At the same time I don’t care about Patrick Timsit, he lives his life, I live mine!”.
